Pico de gallo is a really simple recipe that contains very little liquid and is made with fresh, uncooked ingredients.
And Pico de gallo always contains the same ingredients: fresh and uncooked tomatoes, onion, cilantro, and some people make it with jalapenos.

Ingredients
4 Roma tomatoes, small diced
1/3 cup red onion, small diced
1/3 fresh cilantro, chopped
The juice from 1 Lime
1 teaspoon Olive Oil
1 teaspoon salt, or to taste

Instructions
Combine tomatoes, onion, cilantro, Olive Oil, and salt in a bowl.

Top on your favourite Mexican food, or serve with chips.

Pico de gallo is best eaten fresh, within 12 hours of making it. Store in the fridge.
